The modern dance taught takes its ideas from the pioneer of the 'free' style dance, Isadora Duncan. The American dancer born in San Francisco in the late 1800's, was the first to adopt a natural free-form, expressive style of movement performed in loose clothes and bare foot. Her dances were inspired by the ancient Greek phylosophy and sculptures and appeared as very expressive flowing movements and gestures. As this style is inspired by the nature and its strenght we will find a sort of athleticism carachterised by skipping, jumping, running. leaping and tossing.
Juana will give her interpretation of this style which connects the emotions to the body creating movements that are so unique and personal in order to discover the real inner rhythm.
